A Hoop With A Message
MNM has partnered with Holistic Hooping to offer special hula hoops for purchase, with sizes and colors customized for each child. All hoops are “hand-made with durable tubing, colorful grip tape and lots of loving intention! [Each] hoop is infused with the healing ingredients of clear quartz crystal, lavender flowers, black sand from Bali and a hand-written affirmation that says 'I CAN DO IT!' all inside the hoop. “
MNM provides hula hoops for use during class time. Personal hoops may be purchased HERE for $15, but are not required for class participation. |
A Word From A Mom
“The Music N' Motion Hula Hoop Program was a nice treat and addition to the already successful programs in place. My daughter did the class and in a few short weeks was a master hula hooper and loved it. I think the class is a fantastic idea - it provides a great workout for the kids and really tests their coordination. I appreciate Music N' Motion for staying ahead of the game and providing healthy alternatives for our school children. And, they make it very fun for the kids to come to class. Thank you Music 'N Motion. Keep it up!”

It's A Family Affair
MNM aims to teach children impressive tricks in a safe manner that encourages them to continue their fitness at home. MNM instructors often hear how excited the students were to teach their friends, siblings and even parents how to hoop. MNM focuses on how and why each basic fundamental or trick is achieved, giving the student utmost confidence to share their discoveries with others!

Hoop Kisses
Slight bruising can be a part of the initial learning process in Hooping. These “hoop kisses” become less common as the children quickly learn the proper technique. MNM instructors encourage parents to keep their children hydrated and protected from the sun by packing sunscreen and water on class day. MNM also recommends Arnica cream, a healing & soothing homeopathic remedy for the relief of minor bruises and sore muscles.
